I don't know why I am so concern about this. Hey, it's not even my Z. Why the hell I care. But due to my working background, to benchmark domestic car and import car, our Z (Nissan,Toyota, Benz,BMW) is so much better built than domestic. Realiability of imports is so much more superior than the domestic. A 12 year old camry/maxima will still have better realiability than a 5 year old taurus. Why? It is because the japs and european car manufacturers are far more superior than the US manufacturer in NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) engineering. Every part of the import car is built to reduce vibration. Don't believe me? I am sure one of you guys has a 5 year old domestic car. Compare it to a 10 year old import. You will see the difference. I am pissed because some "perfomance" part manufacturers, (i.e underdrive pulley, one piece shaft) has never do any NVH study on their product. We, being the sucker for hp gain, don't care the consequences (sp?) of using thier products. All they do is reverse engineering, and claim they do a better job than Nissan by increasing the hp of the Z. If Nissan don't care about reliability, I am sure the Z (when new) will not cost $30k+++ in the first place and it will have more than 300hp stock, much lighter..you get the point.
